Kauai Real Estate
The northern-most island of the Hawaiian Island archipelago, Kauai is geologically the oldest of all Hawaiian Islands. Kauai was the first of the Hawaiian Islands to be inhabited by Polynesian explorers nearly two thousand years ago, and is richly steeped in ancient Hawaiian history and cultural traditions. Kauai was also the first of the Hawaiian Islands to be discovered by Cook in 1778.
Today--while possessing some of the worlds finest world class resorts and golf courses, a major airport and business center in Lihue, and a variety of city conveniences--Kauai is best described as largely rural with a laidback lifestyle.

Regions of Kauai
Known as the Garden Isle due to its lush natural beauty, Kauai is decidedly the most beautiful of all the Hawaiian Islands, with 552 square miles of unforgettable, often dramatic scenery: majestic mountains, spectacular canyons, soaring cliffs, sultry rain forests, vibrant multi-colored flowers and foliage everywhere you look, over 150 miles of golden and white sands beaches, and a dazzling border of sparkling blue-green ocean!
Many of Kauais most breathtaking panoramas remain unspoiled by roads, buildings, or other evidence of human presence, and are accessible only by air.
